Beauty and Beast

Excuse me; here am I again.


Folks! "Beauty and the Beast" might give you an impression that I am writing something about that Disney fairytale of the same title. Well, no. Find out for yourself.

In Cebu, just a few weeks before this is written there was a beautiful lady who was alleged to have done bad things. One of the questions that arise from this phenomenon is this: can somebody beautiful as she can do such crimes? Confronting us with this same situation, we might ask can somebody beautiful negate the beauty emanating from her or him? I don't write this blog entry in order to attack the girl or the woman. My intent is to bring us to a deeper questioning of ourselves; what is beauty, what is beast?

In my previous blog, I encourage you to transcend - to look beyond that which your naked eyes can see. For as Exupery writes that it is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye. 

Remember this, physical beauty - a beauty we attribute to those people who earn money due to their being the beautiful folks in society cannot vouch for a good attitude. The contrary- those we deem that are not beautiful in society folks cannot vouch for the veracity of their having a bad attitude. 

True Beauty and Beast emanates from within to without. 

Everyone of us has that beautyness and beastness inside us. Tame both. Learn from your experience and believe that you can still achieve a better version of yourself every other day. Don't stop learning the art of good attitude. Listen and ponder upon with this song by Celine Dion entitled Beauty and the Beast.

EYE: Transcendence

Ahem. Excuse me, people.

Try closing your eyes for a moment and afterwards open it. What did you see? 

Eureka! Did you realize that you are not blind? But is not the realization that you are not blind evokes nostalgic feeling in you? You might answer me, "to hell with pointing out the obvious!", I'll answer back, "was the nostalgia means that the realization is OBVIOUS?" 

Readers of my blog and followers alike, may you be a nitwit, a blubber, an oddment, a tweak (a famous line of Albus Dumbledore), let us examine closely if we are not blind physically and metaphysically. Seeing teaches us transcendence - to go beyond our space .

I believe an assortment of introductions are not that needed, but nonetheless your "excuse mes" is a verbal reaction that needs to be answered. Well, readers and followers of my blog alike, you might wonder, be it or be it not, the title of my blog can be on the one hand inviting and on the other hand offensive. As you read the proceeding entries of this blog, you will surely find out for yourself that there is a lot more of themes that this blog would like to point out. Acting like an author of biblical books I say, "Read and you shall find out."

"Excuse me", be it emphatically or lousily said, is a human verbal reaction that connotes many meanings. Be it vehemently or respectfully said, the blurting out of this two-word declaration brings one to the intention of the speaker. This blog of mine, commenting on different topics which might be physical, metaphysical and to some extent delusional current thinking of this sane world, just a presumption, is an excuse-me-people-of-the-world hodge-podge  of personal ideas.
